La Conner Community News is an independent, locally-owned newspaper that serves as a trusted and inclusive platform for the La Conner, Swinomish and surrounding communities.

The La Conner Swinomish Library is a landmark of hope, a community gathering place to share knowledge and stories, and to encourage insights into cultural identities. It is a place for families to actively participate in their children's reading development and provides opportunity for neighbors to join together.

The La Conner Firefighters Association is a local group of community members assisting in public education and community fundraising events to support the families and friends, businesses and all who are part of the La Conner community.

The La Conner Firefighters Association works shoulder-to-shoulder with the La Conner Volunteer Firefighters to plan and host fundraising events, seasonal dances, and special occasions throughout the La Conner community. Because we care about the betterment of our small community, we often provide additional support for those who need it most.

The Simply Curious in conjunction with Skagit Drag Series is more than a show; it’s a magical space.

For nearly 15 years, we’ve been creating inclusive drag events that uplift performers, welcome audiences of all identities, and celebrate the power of chosen family, creativity, and community.

Rooted in Skagit County and reaching beyond, our shows are built with intention, joy, and respect for the art of drag.

Swinomish Yacht Club is located in beautiful La Conner, WA. Together we enjoy the San Juan Islands, Puget Sound, Canadian Gulf Islands and all things boating.

Skagit Valley Renaissance Faires is our local boots-on-the-ground event coordinator/supporter.  A part of the Washington Shakespearean Festival (WSF) brings the magic of Shakespeare's life and times to you through a variety of engaging experiences. From Renaissance Faires and online classes to birthday parties and fundraisers, they offer a diverse range of performances, educational programs, and sponsored events that celebrate the timeless art of the Elizabethan age.
